The Daphne 1 Light fixture is a thoughtful mix of hand-forged steel and recycled opal white glass that offers a subtle balance between playful and refined. The tapered oval shape of the metal frame adds character without feeling overdone, while the matte black and French gold finishes create a striking contrast that suits a variety of decor styles. Measuring 24 inches across and 8 inches tall, this fixture makes a noticeable but not overwhelming presence on a wall or ceiling. It includes a 5.5-inch backplate that keeps the whole fixture secure. You can install it either facing up or down, which adds flexibility depending on how you want to direct the light. The globe shade softens the light from a medium base incandescent bulb up to 60 watts, providing a comfortable glow. It's dimmable, making it easy to adjust the ambiance in the room. Built to handle damp conditions, this fixture fits well in environments like bathrooms or covered porches. It carries UL CSA certification and meets California's Prop 65 and Title 20 standards, ensuring safety and compliance. Weighing about 13 pounds and crafted in the Philippines, it has a sturdy feel without being heavy or cumbersome. This is a solid choice if you want a piece that's both practical and visually interesting without calling too much attention to itself.
