The Skynest Motion Pendant showcases an airy dome crafted out of lit and unlit curved rods wrapped in thin woven fabric mesh. Each luminous rod is powered by micro-connectors at the top and covered with two-toned mesh, a colored outer side and white inner side for optimal light emission from the LED module. A built-in balancing system at the top of the dome ensures fixture stability, while an aluminum ring at the rim provides structural integrity. The visually striking design resembles a floor lamp, but is instead suspended from the ceiling by a discreet cable. The plug-in power cord runs from the dome up and over a long horizontal arm, and is anchored on the floor by a small base. Hanging height can be adjusted by adjusting the ceiling cable length during installation, and by pulling more or less cord through the base. The fabric mesh on the dome is made of recycled and recyclable fabric produced from polyester, making this pendant an environmentally friendly option.
