The Colette Cabinet by Currey and Company is a refined storage cabinet that pairs mid-century proportions with contemporary polish — ideal for living rooms, dining areas, or entryways where design and function must coexist. Its tactile eucalyptus veneer and luminous mirror accents create an immediate focal point without overwhelming a space.
Key Features & Design
- Signature materials: Figured eucalyptus veneers over a poplar frame, finished in a warm tawny brown with a high‑gloss luster that enhances the wood’s linear texture.
- Distinctive door details: Three doors each set with three beveled mirror insets framed in polished brass rings — a geometric, sculptural motif that reflects light and adds depth.
- Elevated base: Tapered metal legs with polished brass ferrules lift the cabinet for an airy silhouette and coordinate with the brass ring accents.
- Generous proportions: Approximately 60" W x 20" D x 36" H, offering substantial storage while maintaining a balanced, furniture‑grade scale.
- Thoughtful hardware: Concealed soft‑close hinges, anti‑tip safety hardware, adjustable nylon glides for floor protection, and integrated cord management ports for media or lamp use.
- Craftsmanship: Hand‑finished details and stainless steel trim around mirrors complement Currey and Company’s reputation for high‑quality decorative furniture.
Performance / Benefits
- Organized storage: Multiple interior shelves (including adjustable shelving) provide versatile space for dinnerware, media components, barware, or everyday living‑room essentials.
- Design-forward presence: Mirrored insets and polished brass details catch and redistribute light, making the cabinet an effective visual anchor that brightens a room.
- Durable, low‑maintenance finish: The high‑gloss veneer resists everyday wear and cleans easily with a soft, dry cloth — preserving the cabinet’s showroom appearance.
- Safe and stable: Built‑in anti‑tip hardware and adjustable glides ensure the piece sits securely on a variety of floors and meets modern safety expectations.
- Versatile styling: With a restrained silhouette and mixed materials, the Colette Cabinet complements modern, transitional, and mid‑century interiors while elevating the overall decor.
Designed and manufactured by Currey and Company, the Colette Cabinet blends decorative detailing with thoughtful functionality — a practical statement piece that organizes belongings while enhancing room character.
